Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam can be classified into two types according to their production method: chemically cross-linked and physically cross-linked.
Chemically cross-linked pe foam:
Made by high-temperature foaming after extrusion of the well-distributed blend of melted low-density polyethylene(LDPE), AC foaming agent and other powders.
Production Process: mixing-extrusion-foaming
Physically cross-linked pe foam:
Made by high-temperature foaming after electron accelerator for irradiation, followed by extrusion of melted low-density polyethylene(LDPE), AC foaming agent and other powders. Compared with XPE foam, IXPE foam has more delicate cellular, more smooth ﹠flat surface, more excellent mechanical performance.

Cross-linked polyethylene foam is available in a wide range of densities and as well as in over 10 different colors. It is applied in conductive, soundproof and flame retardant formulations.
Cross-linked polyethylene foam is commonly used in the automotive industry, construction, packing, tapes, flooring underlay, sports and leisure industries.
