IXPE foam is physically cross linked, closed-cell polyolefin foam produced in continuous sheets in a three-stage process: extrusion, crosslinking, and vertical foaming.
Its unique combination of mechanical, chemical, and thermal properties make it an ideal substitution for classical gasket foams such as EPDM rubber, PU and PVC. With 16 years experience in this line, we can reach thicknesses as low as 0.2mm makes these grades of foam ideal for tape applications.
IXPE Foam for Photovoltaic tape is a classical cases in our projects. We give a professional solution as followings: IXPE foam with density of 67kg/m3, 1mm, black or white, after gluing, and coated with PE film on surface, it will be made into the tape with of good tensile property.
Our options for industrial tape:
A few foam range in density from 30kgs/m3- 50kgs/m3,
Available in a wide range of colors, white, black, gray and custom colors.
Light weight, it can be up to 80% lighter than PVC foam.
Wide range of working temperature (-40°C up to 80°C depending on type).
Resist most chemicals such as fuels, oils, brake fluids and cooling liquids.
Good weathering resistance and anti ageing behaviour.
Fine regular closed cell structure with two process skins, which made gluing easier.
Waterproof and low water vapour transmission because of its closed cell structures.
Low fogging values.
Great thermoplastic properties, especially vacuum and press-forming.
Good thermal and noise insulation properties.
